Bikur Cholim Hospital ended the year 2006 with a record of 4148 births. This marks a new record reached by the hospital. The previous record was 3,900 births. The hospital administration says that the building of the new labour and delivery rooms and the renovations carried out in the department are the key factors attracting the women to give birth at “Bikur Cholim” Hospital. This is in addition to the preferential and special treatment that they receive in the tradition of the hospital. Furthermore, the hospital’s central location and its high standard of Kashrut also play a major role in choosing the hospital. The increase in the number of births in the last few months has adjusted the work plan for 2007 to a prediction of approximately 4,500 births. The hospital is adjusting itself accordingly in terms of the numbers of doctor and nursing staff being made available. Statistically, every 100 minutes there is a new baby born in the delivery rooms of “Bikur Cholim” Hospital. For more details" Shimon Malka Hospital Spokesman: 054-6718228 |
